Malted Crisp Tart - Leave Your Link
Have you finished your Marathon Crisp Tart ? That's what it should be called, I can't wait to see everyones results and hear the stories-I'm sure there will be many.
Lillian raised a very good issue in the comments field of THE RULES ,which certainly makes sense. Her comment dealt with publishing the recipes on our site. And while we do have permission to do so it's one of those things that when I thought about , I went DUH. We all have the BAKED cookbook so we don't really need to publish the recipe here and if our readers want to follow along they also need to purchase the cookbook. Many bake-along, cook-along sites don't publish the recipes so in the spirit of supporting Matt & Renato let's have all of our readers go out and buy the book and bake along with us ! Lillian thank you for your comment !

I felt like a real dessert chef baking this many-parts recipe. I would charge at least $10 per slice and it would be worth it and more. It is rare to find such a complex dessert on any restaurant menu. Everyone who tried this tart was impressed. For anyone needing emotional help, this dessert would probably be a great alternative to Prozac.

This is definitely one of my favorites from the cookbook so far!

Lots of stuff going on in this tart! Liked it. Liked the components. Didn't hate the finished product but it wasn't my favorite. I'm still glad I made it, thanks to Baked Sunday Mornings!

This was okay - I thought the sum of the components would have more crunch, but mine got a little soggy. Glad I made it!

Better late than never! I garnished mine to look like a crown. I have a weakness for cuteness.

Sorry I am late... I made mine in mini tart pan so my husband could take them to work easier. I thought they were really good, but man were there a lot of steps! Not sure if I will make them again anytime soon, but I too loved the crispies. I can see using them often.
